COMMUNITY OUTREACH - Advocacy Council Update - Written By Jess Jones
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The purpose of the Advocacy Council is to promote intergroup
cooperation among the groups which comprise the Council. The Council, in conjunction with the
membership has established several programs and projects which the Council then
operates. All programs are made
available without charge to any person who is a member of any group which
participates with the Council. Each
program draws from among the community for staffing and participation. People who work as instructors, writers,
administrators, mentors, Council Representatives do so as a means of giving
back to the community and seeking to do something that might be of real service
to our Occult membership.
The Learning Annex
The Learning Annex offers online classes and is now beginning student
registration for the upcoming 2021 Spring Quarter. If you are interested in Occult study, you
can enroll at the Learning Annex and participate in the school quarter.
The Corvus Oculum is a mentoring program that connects those
students seeking to advance their understanding of magic with appropriate
mentors. Currently the program needs
mentors. Mentoring can be one of the
more fulfilling of undertakings.
The Intuitive Magickz School is currently preparing to offer
three new classes for students interested in the study of the less structured
and more individualistic Occult teachings.
Enrollment is currently open.
Interested people may contact the school for immediate enrollment.
Also, the school is currently seeking Instructors.
Aether Occult Media is seeking writers, feature submissions,
and reporters interested in participating in the work of creating this online
publication. This is an excellent
opportunity to apply creative writing skills.
Letters to the Editor encouraged.
*Note: The Aether
operates under a Council Mandate that provides freedom of Editorial direction
and safeguards the function of a free press within the Occult Community.
