Letter from the editor - Rising from the depths by Wrenja

 Hello my lovelies!

Welcome to spring! The frost has finally been shaken off and the days are warming up. My heating bill is finally sane again. Hooray for spring! But summer is right around the corner, and after a year of huddling in bed with my switch to stay away from all of the weird infectious people outside, it is time to emerge! Once that second vaccination hits it’s time to GO. There will be swimming, and roller skating, going to weekend markets, and festivals. We’re all rising from the depths in a lot of different ways right now, and those depths got dark there for a minute, didn’t they? I’m not going to lie, I’m still shaking off that pandemic depression, I imagine a lot of you are as well. Having faith and being persistent will help all of us come out of it on the other side. Let's all hold on and pull through so that we can enjoy this summer and everything it has to offer us.

In this issue we’ve got tales of monsters in the forest, thoughts on shadow work, and the place of the humble knot within occult traditions. There is a lot of good stuff to chew on this issue, and I just want to welcome you to enjoy all of it! I’ve been so pleased with the work our writers have been submitting, I am incredibly grateful to all of them and the astounding work they are producing. We may be a tiny upstart publication with no real home currently, but the work these guys are creating is nothing short of phenomenal, and I just want to thank all of them for their super hard work. As always, you can direct questions, complaints, and random musings to AetherOccultMedia@gmail.com. We'll see each other again at the end of summer, have fun and don't lose any limbs!
