In Spirit We Rise - Written by Rx Kal'dia
When physical means of rebellion are tightened under the lock and key of immense systemic force, humanity does what it does best. We innovate. We turn to realms which cannot be controlled, in our spirits and our minds. The invisible worlds of information and imagination make grounds for the equalization of power across our vast and carefully violent societies. Bodies may be beaten, but Spirit is ours so long as we have the will to claim it. And so, in the trying times between Man versus Man and Man versus Self, we are forced to transcend the boundaries of the physical world and navigate who we are beyond the animal. Evolution demands spiritual reform - a redefinition of what it means to be human. That is what we experience now. A grand death and rebirth of the human collective soul.
Each of us toil in our factions of ideas, arguing and inventing endlessly what new image humanity will become. Will we be artists? Lovers? Tyrants? Warriors? Wizards? Machines? What ideas, fragments of the collective soul, are cut away and left behind, fossils for new generations to wear beneath their feet. War has taken a new shape in this long-labor birth of conscious change. We fight with information. With brilliance and formation of thought. We sling the ancient, long hidden tools of our creation like toys! What a beautiful time to live. How beautiful to watch ourselves grow so bright that we burn the world around us.
In a new spirit, we rise. We rise in the wake of brave powers who saw what they were and decided to use it for change, their lives and souls burned up in sacrificial artistry to make the world better than it was when they entered it. We build from the rubble of cruel worlds past and often the broken pieces of our own lives. For many young people today, there are no traditions. There is no family, no right or wrong or foundation but a sea of oppressive commercial genocide and whatever their minds can form from the ashes. No one in this detrimental period should be left to fumble alone. It will not hold. Let us rebuild together.
